Exchange Migration

Consolidating Microsoft® Exchange servers or changing the configuration of network architecture can be a daunting task. Ontrack® PowerControls™ can help you save time, money and significant headaches by slashing email restoration times and eliminating the burden of brick-level backups.

As an Exchange server is taken out of service, Ontrack PowerControls can be used to copy all mailbox data contained in an un-mounted Exchange Information Store (edb) file to a different Exchange Server on the network.

Ontrack PowerControls allows the complete merger of all mailboxes into a single Information Store without having to bring the old server online in the new network configuration.

Exchange administrators can also copy an offline mailbox to a new server to assist with migration. Brick-level backups and other email archiving solutions require old and new servers to be online in order to perform the migration. Ontrack PowerControls eliminates this requirement.
